Returns and Refunds Policy

LIMITED WARRANTY

All Sierra HorseWear®and Chaskit® horse blankets and Sierra DogWear® dog coats, are warranteed by the Manufacturer to the original retail purchaser of the product against defects in materials and workmanship for one year from the date of purchase. This warranty shall apply only if the product has (a) been used in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions, (b) has not been subjected to physical abuse, and (c) has not been modified, altered, services or repaired by anyone other than the Manufacturer. Only Sierra Horsewear® and Sierra DogWear® Olympic products are warranteed as waterproof and that warranty lapses if Care Instructions (see Care Instructions page) are not followed. Buyer assumes all risk and liability from the use of the product, whether used singly or in combination with other goods.

Manufacturer specifically disclaims any liability for incidental or consequential damages.  Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages or limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts. Accordingly, the above limitations and exclusions may not apply to you.  The limited warranty gives you specific rights. You may also have other rights which vary from state to state.

Manufacturer reserves the right to repair or replace the goods, at the Manufacturer’s sole discretion. Any goods returned to the Manufacturer under the warranty must be securely packaged and delivered to Manufacturer, shipping prepaid, as follows:

RETURNS, EXCHANGES and REFUNDS

Returns, exchange and refund are available for 30 days from the date the customer receives the product. After 30 days, full refunds or exchanges are not available.

To be eligible for a return, exchange or refund your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. We will replace any item that is defective. Items that are damaged or worn items cannot be returned for exchange or a full refund.

Partial refunds may be granted for:

  • Any item not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error
  • Any item that is returned more than 30 days after delivery

Purchasers must contact us by email (gill@chaskit.com) or phone (800-456-7408) before requesting a refund or exchange and returning an item for any reason.

SHIPPING RETURNS

Any product returned to the manufacturer must include the following information:

  • Name and address of the retail seller of the product, (2) identification of the product, (3) date of purchase of the product, and (4) the name and address of the purchaser of the product, (5) method of payment.

Purchaser will be responsible for paying for all shipping costs for returns. Shipping costs are non-refundable.

For exchanges, purchaser will be charged for shipping.

Please use a trackable shipping service as we are not responsible for items lost in transit.
